30 But the Pharisees and the expounders of the Law despised the counsel of God [a]against themselves, and were not baptized of him.

31 (A)[b]And the Lord said, Whereunto shall I liken the men of this generation? and what thing are they like unto?

32 They are like unto little children sitting in the marketplace, and crying one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced: we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.
